Private MTB lessons - Unlock Your Potential

Our focused private mountain bike lessons are aimed at providing insights and an analytic approach to help steer your progression.
If you’ve developed some bad habits in your riding or have a plateau in your progression - these might just be what you need to bring the flow back.
Generally - these work best in three’s. If there’s jumps or corners you need to get better at - both those skills require a strong foundation and correct movement - which we will aim to create in your riding prior to helping you achieving your goals for an overall sustainable result.If you cannot see any availability -please ring us on +64210614017

Our private mountain bike lessons range from first time beginners to experienced and advanced riders.
These can vary from introduction to mountain biking in a safe and controlled environment and/or toward catering towards fine tuning and refining current skills and offering the right amount of challenge and guidance.
For beginner riders, private lessons can be a great first experience to mountain biking fundamentals - with our extensive local experience we are driven to deliver a service that suits your needs.
Experienced/advanced can expect further refinement in their riding, our correct and concise explanations and lesson structure not only help you progress in the lesson but provide sustainable steps to keep progressing on your own much after.
We learn from you while you learn from us, we understand that every rider is unique and learns differently. This is where our experience and bandwidth comes into the picture. We work with where you are, while helping you progress where you want to be.
TIP: If you have a goal, let us know. Most likely a 3 pack is the best long term value.
Example 1: Riding switch backs and tight/steep corners.
Lesson 1- Body dynamics and braking, understanding effective and advanced positions under braking and cornering scenarios.
Lesson 2: Hip rotation and pressure control through corners for traction, exit speed and greater range of movement.
Lesson 3: Depending on ability either.
a) Combination of the above with a maneuvers classb) Working with steeper gradients, speeds and various shapes of corners to further refine technique and ensure it stays consistent.

Relative fitness for riding approximately 2.5 hours for half day and 4-5hrs full day.
We do include regular breaks and work within your fitness levels.A working mountain bike, treaded knobby tires.
Ample snacks and water for the duration of the session.
Regular fitting helmets and knee pads.
Full-face helmets and chest & back protectors for lift access bike parks.

All rentals can be arranged while booking.
For bikes please enter your height and weight so we can set it up for you prior to pick up.

I’ve been riding Mountain Bikes for many years but decided to invest in 3 sessions with Piyush to see how I could improve my cornering and jumping. The 3 sessions went through body position, cornering technique and jumping skills. Piyush filmed each session so I could see what I was doing wrong, and then right. With his clear directions and explanations I was able to learn skills which have already made a positive impact on my riding. Highly recommended!
