What’s needed?

Please remember to bring the following unless items already rented:

- Full face helmets and knee pads.
- Chest protectors.
- Shoes fit for mountain biking.
- Lunch or money for lunch.

The Risks:

Mountain biking is inherently risky. You'll face challenges like steep slopes, unavoidable obstacles, narrow paths, and areas with poor traction. There's also the chance of falling off your bike, which could lead to fatal injuries. It is important to understand that by participating in this activity you are essentially exposing yourself to these risks.

Your Safety:

We prioritize your safety and will do everything we can to protect you. But it's important to remember that unexpected events can happen, and they can be serious.

Your Acknowledgement:

By participating, you're acknowledging that you understand these risks. You're aware that not following safety instructions or not using equipment properly increases your risk. While we strive to keep you safe, you are ultimately responsible for your actions.

Cancellation Policy:

• You must cancel at least 7 days in advance to avoid fees.

• Cancellations within 7 days incur a 50% fee.

• If we cancel an event due to weather and can't reschedule, you'll get a 75% refund of the amount you paid or a full amount in credit. This is to ensure we cover administration costs for organising said event/sessions. If you have included lift passes or rentals, you will receive a full refund.

Media Policy:

• Purpose: This policy governs the use of photographs/videos of clients for promotional purposes by Treadmark NZ

• Consent: By confirming your reservation the client is authorizing the use of their images in a non-identifiable manner for marketing purposes.

• Privacy: Images will not show full faces or identifiable features. Clients may opt-out at any time to prevent the use of their images in future materials

• Use: The Company may use client images for promotions, ensuring they are generic and privacy-compliant.
